My rates and how to receive support!

I currently charge £15 an hour for support, and £0.45 for mileage in my own vehicle

Ways you can receive support are

  • The majority of clients I currently support receive funding from Social Services. The cost of service and the support package is agreed with Social Services and then I work to what is agreed within the budget.  (My prices per hour can slightly alter this way as it is very much the decision of Social Services what they are willing to offer to pay the Personal Assistant, and if I feel the price is close to what I offer then I do accept this) This is one way of receiving support off myself.  If you currently have a Social Worker and a Personal Assistant has been discussed with you or agreed, then this is one way of receiving support from myself, and this will not financially effect you.  You will be given a payment card from Social Services, and money will be put into this account each month which then pays for the support you receive.

  • If you do not have a Social Worker but are desperately in need for support, then another option if you receive PIP (Personal Independence Payment) is that you use this money to pay for your support. We can discuss beforehand how much PIP you receive and how many hours you can afford per week.

  • If you do not have a Social Worker or receive PIP or any other benefits, then the final option is to pay directly. At £15 an hour this may sound expensive, however if you were to receive for example, 4 hours per week, this would cost £60 a week or approximately £240 a month. This price can however be negotiated.
